Mr. Khalid Saleem

With over 15 years of demonstrated entrepreneurial prowess, Mr. Khalid Saleem, an alumnus of IBA Karachi, has consistently shown that people-centric business planning not only benefits the bottom line but also provides social advantages. At RG Blue, he is highly respected for transforming a small design house, into a PKR 400 million full-service, award-winning agency. His previous roles include founding RG Blue Services and the Mahi Sea Food franchise in Pakistan, serving as Marketing Director for The Oasis Golf & Aqua Resort, leading marketing efforts at BankIslami, and managing products at Pakistan State Oil. A dedicated networker, Mr. Saleem enjoys traveling and sharing new experiences with his extensive network of relationships that date back to his childhood.

Mr. Inam Rahmani

Mr. Inam Rahmani is actively involved in various domains, showcasing a versatile career. He serves as a Trustee for the Commecs Educational Trust and is recognized for pioneering Exhibition and Event Logistics in Pakistan. Beginning with the coordination of logistics for “IDEAS 2000, International Defense Exhibition” he remained involved in such ventures until his retirement in 2014, significantly elevating Pakistan’s presence in the Exhibition World.

Mr. Inam Rahmani also held prominent roles, including Chairman and major shareholder, at Agility F&E Logistics Pakistan Ltd.

His commitment to professional standards is evident through his active membership in IELA,

First Pakistani to have been given membership of IELA a prestigious global trade association focusing on exhibition logistics. The organization’s strict entry requirements focusing on exhibition & event expertise assure the highest level of quality service. Its members are recognized as the industry leaders and niche providers in their own communities or regions as well as around the globe.

During his academic tenure at the Government College of Commerce and Economics, Karachi                        

Mr. Inam Rahmani excelled in debating and elocution competitions, showcasing his communication skills. Additionally, he has contributed to community affairs, serving twice on the managing committee of Commecs Old Students Association (COSA).

Mr. Inam Rahmani being an Ace Golfer having two aces to his credit has been member of the Club Executive Committee for two consecutive terms. Overall, Mr. Rahmani’s varied experiences underscore his leadership, entrepreneurial drive, and dedication to diverse fields.

MR. A. H. Basrai

Mr. A. Husain Basrai is a distinguished professional who began his academic journey at the Government College of Commerce and Economics before pursuing higher studies in the UK. He is a Fellow of the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales.          Mr. Basrai’s notable career includes serving as President of the Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, where he significantly contributed to the institution’s growth and excellence. He was also the senior partner at KPMG, Taseer Hadi & Company, one of the country’s leading audit firms.

Mr. Basrai’s contributions to Commecs Educational Trust have been profound and impactful, fostering a culture of excellence and resilience among its members. He also served Commecs Educational Trust as a Managing Trustee. He has a well-earned reputation for his extensive societal contributions, particularly through numerous welfare projects. However, his primary passion has always been education, advocating for its true essence at all levels. Mr. Basrai’s multifaceted efforts and leadership have left an indelible mark on both the professional and educational landscapes in Pakistan.

Mr. Omar H Karim

Mr. Omar H Karim boasts a distinguished career marked by leadership and expertise in various sectors. He has been serving as Chairman of Amanah Investments Limited since 2005. His extensive experience includes former directorships at Unilever Pakistan Limited and Brooke Bond Pakistan Limited, and he has held the role of Chairman at Pakistan Basmati Rice Mills. Mr. Karim has also been involved in strategic initiatives as an ex-member of the Privatization Committee for the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and has served as Vice President of the Pakistan Tea Association. His directorships include Omar H Karim (Pvt.) Limited and Yaparvar (Pvt.) Limited.

Mr. Karim completed his graduation from Government College of Commerce and Economics, Karachi followed by an LLB and LLM at Sindh Muslim Law College. His professional experience encompasses leading House of Kasam, a prominent tea importer in Pakistan from 1972 to 2000, and overseeing Pakistan Basmati Rice Mills, which is recognized for its award-winning rice exports. Additionally, he is the Chairman, Board of Governors, Commecs Institute of Business and Emerging Sciences (CIBES) a Chartered degree awarding institute. He is also a founding trustee of COMMECS Educational Trust (CET) and is actively involved in the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Rice Export Association of Pakistan.

Ahmed Chinoy, H.I., S.I.

Mr. Ahmed Chinoy is an industrialist and business leader with decades of experience across
capital markets, financial services, real estate, textiles, agriculture and community development.
As Managing Partner of the Arch Group of Companies, he oversees diversified business interests
spanning security investments, textiles, real estate and poultry farming.

He currently serves as a Shareholder Director of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and as a
Nominee Director of the PSX on the boards of the Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX),
Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC) and National Clearing Company of
Pakistan Limited (NCCPL). He also serves on the boards of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited
(SNGPL), Creek Developers (Private) Limited, AKD REIT Management Company Limited, and
I.T. Minds Limited. In addition, he holds executive positions as Executive Director of Virtuosoft
(Private) Limited and Director of Insijam (Private) Limited.

Mr. Ahmed Chinoy is qualified from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of
Pakistan (ICMAP), holds a graduate degree in Commerce from the University of Karachi and is
a Certified Director from the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG).

Beyond his corporate responsibilities, he has remained deeply committed to public service and
social welfare. He has had the privilege of serving as Chief of the Citizens-Police Liaison
Committee (CPLC) Sindh from 2010 to 2015, contributing significantly to crime prevention and
community security initiatives. He has also actively served healthcare, educational and welfare
institutions and has held the honor of leading the Memon community as President of the All
Pakistan Memon Federation. Additionally, he has served on the Managing Committee of the
Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) and as Chairman of the
Pakistan Cloth Merchants Association.

In recognition of his contributions to Pakistan and its people, he has been awarded the Hilal-e-
Imtiaz (HI) and Sitara-e-Imtiaz (SI), among the country’s highest civilian honors.

Mr. Ahmed Chinoy’s professional mission is to strengthen institutions, promote good
governance, support economic growth and contribute meaningfully to the development and
prosperity of Pakistan.

Mr. Ahsan M. Saleem

Mr. Ahsan M. Saleem is a prominent business leader currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, and Executive Director at Crescent Steel & Allied Products Ltd. His extensive portfolio includes being the Chairman of CSAP Foundation and the Chairman of the Governors Board at the Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture. Additionally, he is a Director at the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy and the Citizens Foundation (Pakistan). He is also a Trustee at Commecs Educational Trust. Mr. Saleem’s past roles include serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director at Shakarganj Ltd., former Chairman, Board of Governors, Commecs Institute of Business & Emerging Sciences (CIBES), and Director at the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Ltd.

In his current capacity, Mr. Saleem holds several other significant positions, including Director roles at AKD REIT Management Company Limited, Creek Developers (Private) Limited, and Kissan Support Services (Private) Limited. He is the Managing Partner at Lotus Properties and a Partner at Golden Livestocks, Al-Karam Builders & Developers, and Al-Karam Lagoon. Additionally, he serves as a Nominee Director of PSX for the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited, National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited, Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, and the Institute of Financial Markets of Pakistan. Mr. Ahsan M. Saleem’s vast experience and leadership roles across various organizations underscore his significant contributions to the business and philanthropic sectors in Pakistan.

Mr. Arshad Islam

Mr. Arshad Islam serves as the Chief Executive of the Pioneer Group of Companies and is the Patron-in-Chief and former Chairman (Central) of PASPIDA. He has been a prominent figure in the business community, holding various significant roles. These include Senior Vice President of the KCCI, a member of the managing committee of FPCCI, Chairman of IAP, and Senior Vice President of LCCI. Additionally, he has led as President of the Lions Club and District Governor of Alliance Clubs International. His extensive involvement extends to other organizations, having served as the former Chairperson of the Lions Club, Patron-in-Chief of the NTTB Association, and Trustee of the Lions Eye Hospital, among numerous other social forums.

Ms. Hena Sadiq

Ms. Hena Sadiq is Partner Audit, Assurance and Financial Institution Risk Advisory at Yousuf Adil Chartered Accountants in Karachi with more than 20 years of experience in assurance business where she is delivering services to various International, Multinational and Local clients. She is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP). She has also served various prestigious professional and business schools as a Visiting Faculty.

She has served and is currently serving on various technical committees of ICAP and has been a part of various initiatives of the Institute. She was awarded the CA Women of the year Award 2021.

Mr. Mehmood Yacoob

Mr. Mehmood Yacoob is a prominent figure in the business and professional community, holding the positions of Managing Director and Company Secretary for multiple companies, including CG Consultants (Pvt.) Limited, CG Global (Pvt.) Limited, EIWAN (Pvt.) Limited (formerly known as CG Holdings (Pvt.) Ltd.), Vaadi & Koh (Pvt.) Limited, Brick 360 (Pvt.) Limited, Gwadar Boat Club (Pvt.) Limited, Business Enablers (Pvt.) Ltd., GWTC Venture-1, V&K One in Skardu, and MY&CO. With an impressive educational background, Mr. Yacoob completed his Bachelors of Commerce from Government College of Commerce & Economics, Karachi (Karachi University) in the academic year 1988-89 and earned an Executive MBA in Finance from Florida Green University in 2000.

Additionally, he is a member of the Professional Accountants Forum (PAFO), Memon Professional Forum (MPF), Rotary International (RCK Quaid), Memon Leadership Forum Pakistan Chapter (MLF), CFO Club Pakistan (CFO), and Off-Road Club Pakistan (ORCP). His involvement extends to the Association of Builders & Developers of Pakistan (ABAD).  Furthermore, Mr. Yacoob is engaged with several esteemed clubs and federations, including DHA Golf Club, Acacia Country & Golf Club, Haji Abdullah Haroon Muslim Gymkhana, and the All-Pakistan Memon Federation’s A.R. Mrs. Samina Sikander

Mrs. Samina Sikander is a prominent figure in the educational and social sectors, holding multiple esteemed positions and contributing significantly to her community. She serves as a Council Member at the Horticultural Society of Pakistan, where she helps promote and enhance horticultural practices and awareness. Additionally, Mrs. Sikander is the Director at LIONS Academy School, demonstrating her dedication to nurturing and developing young minds. Her leadership extends to her role as Director and Principal at Spirit School Fervour Jauhar Campus, where she oversees academic and administrative functions, ensuring a high standard of education and a supportive learning environment.

Mr. Peer M. Diwan

Mr. Peer Mohammad Diwan is a distinguished leader and visionary in both the industrial and healthcare sectors. As the founder of Gatron Industries Ltd., he served as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director from 1980 to 2021. During his tenure, he led the company to significant growth and innovation, establishing Gatron Industries as a key player in the industry.
