The CET team consists of 10 trustees who are the old students of the Govt. College of Commerce and Economics who joined hands with an aim to pay back a debt to society in the field of Education. The Trustees are from all walks of life – Chartered Accountants, Bankers, Traders, Economists, Industrialists etc. and each holds a prominent position in his professional field in society. Meetings of the Trust are regularly convened to formulate and oversee the implementation of policies framed to take its institutions towards excellence.

Responsibility for the management of all institutions established by Commecs Educational Trust, is vested in the Managing Committee of the respective institution, that has representation from among the trustees of CET, the members of COMMECS, and the institution’s heads. A team headed by the Principal / Heads and his / her staff is responsible for round-the-clock maintenance and supervision.

The Heads, the Trust, Governing Body, and the Managing Committee ensure that all institutions under CET umbrella, are running according to the policies formulated by them. Their continuous guidance guarantees improvements in various areas of operation. Together they have a vision to make Commecs institutes centres of excellence for future professionals. CIBES has already carved a well-deserved name for itself among the leading business schools of the country, while CIFT has become well known for pioneering the concept of Academic Audit conducted professionally for institutions who wish to have their own performance thoroughly evaluated – teaching, training and systems. This external, independent and impartial evaluation identifies the strengths and weaknesses of the audited institutions and identifies areas where professional training and development would make a vast difference in raising the bar of performance.
